Packed and Ready to Go

Our bags are packed, the last tasks are being checked off our to-do list, and our shuttle to the airport arrives in 8 hours.  We did it!  Everything that we need for the next 2 months (we hope) fit into 4 bags (plus 4 carryon backpacks and a stroller).   Many thanks to Peter & Julie Handel for letting us borrow the world's largest duffel bag--it's holding our travel car seats, child carrier backpack, portable travel bed for Kerrigan, and a few other necessities for traveling with 3 kids. Tomorrow we fly from SFO to Chicago and then take an overnight flight to Buenos Aires, arriving at 9:30 am Monday morning.  We're praying for smooth travels with the kids--hopefully they will sleep quite a bit of the way.

It's hard to believe we are actually doing this!  We are thankful that we get the opportunity and are excited to get to share with you via this blog.  We're off to Argentina and Costa Rica to have some time together as a family, time to recharge, to expose the kids to other cultures, learn Spanish and see where God leads.
