Banff, Canada (July 24-28 2010) - Part 1 of our 10 year anniversary celebration/getaway

We had planned this trip back in February or March, long before we knew we'd be moving.  It turned out to be perfect timing, though.  After a hectic few weeks of packing and moving and all the emotions of saying goodbye, this was a welcome little break and needed time together.  It seems like ages ago, now, that we were there, but we had a great time.  Thank you, so much, Beth and Daniel for taking good care of Sutton, Hudson & Kerrigan!

Banff in about the 1800s
And, today
We really enjoyed this quaint little town
We enjoyed walking through it and the healthy restaurants, grocery store and shops
The weather was perfect that week!
It was pretty and lit up at night.  It didn't get dark until about 10pm.

On the bridge at the end of town
The beautiful view from the bridge --
we had a nice picnic lunch one day alongside the river, as well as went for a nice run on a trail along the river
Had to get this one in honor of Hudson :)

wow! looks just like where we live! Awesome. Jason and I really want to get up to Canada and these helped push me more that way. We hear the gardens have an AMAZING Christmas display/park and so we'd like to take the kids on the ferry and go there.
