He looks young and like he is hurt somewhere on his backside. They are supposed to be nocturnal, so not sure what he's doing out now basking in the sun. Wonder if he has a family somewhere nearby, too. Really not wanting any of us getting sprayed.
The kids are currently looking up on their computer how to deodorize him and keep him as a pet and thinking up names for him!

haha! deodorizing him and keeping him as a PET?! You guys really are country folk :)
That's crazy to have one in your yard. Back in Brentwood, some friends of ours at church had a skunk visit twice in one month and spray their house both times :(
oh my goodness.... FREAK out I suppose. At least that is what I would do :)
