Evening Swim

It's been really HOT and HUMID here and there does not seem to be an end in sight for a while (90s all week with Real Feel of 106, 111...).  It's hard being cooped up inside more, so we go to the pool a lot.  Lexi, Wesley and Whitley are visiting for the weekend from their time away in Indiana.  They are staying with Grandma Sauder.  So, we all went swimming at the pool of one of Grandma's friends after dinner.  It stays hot/warm all night.  The lows have been 80s and 70s!  So, swimming at anytime is nice, when it's not thunderstorming.  All new stuff for me still!  It is crazy the extremes of weather here -- so cold in the winter and so hot and humid in the summer and still dark, gloomy days with a lot of rain all year long!  I feel for the pioneers that lived here without heat and A/C.  Our heat had gone out for 2 days in the winter and our A/C went out for nearly two days last week and it was not fun.  And, now I know how the saying 'Make hay while the sun shines' came about.  You can't plan for anything around here.  The weather man never really even knows!  Anyway, wow, I digress.  That was quite a tangent or explosion of thoughts in my head!

 The kids were all so excited to see each other again!  Thank you Grandma and Kaufmans!
