Sutton turned 9 while we were in Florida.
Wow, only 4 more years until she's a teenager
7 until she's driving
9 more years and she'll be off to college!

Where does the time go!
Just reminds me to enjoy every minute.
Just reminds me to enjoy every minute.
Sutton has become quite the tomboy and nearly refuses to wear pink
(although, sometimes I can convince her that it's salmon or reddish, instead of pink :).
She still loves to read, is an extrovert that loves to be social, is quite fearless
and her love for horses and animals in general continues to grow.
We love you very much, Sutton!
Before we left for Indiana and Florida, Grandma and Aunt Helen came over with birthday gifts for Sutton.
Sutton has been getting some sewing lessons at Grandma's house and has enjoyed making gifts for Kerrigan (clothes for her Bitty Baby) and wants to make clothes for Kaya (her American Girl Doll).
She was very excited to receive her own sewing machine from Grandma.
and a sewing bag with goodies from Great Aunt Helen
and Kaya traveled safely to FL in this carrying case Sutton has been wanting
from Uncle Derek & Aunt Leann
Kerrigan and Daddy made this birthday cake for Sutton on her birthday in FL,
while Hudson, Sutton & I were on a walk
Sutton chose her usual birthday dinner request -- Thai Chicken Pizza
and picked out this strawberry cake recipe which she and I made.
You can't quite tell in the picture, but the candles are in the shape of a '9' :)

WOW! I can't believe she's 9. That's amazing.
Means we've known you guys about 10 years now :)
Happy Birthday, Sutton! Rachel was very excited to see the little sewing machine and bag - she's very into knitting right now :)
Happy Birthday Sutton!!
