We rung the New Year in with Derek & Leann and their kids. Lexi, Wesley, Sutton, Hudson & Kerrigan stayed up until midnight for the first time (a first for our kids anyway!) I couldn't believe how wide awake they all were! - Whitley slept in our bed :).
Doug and I had fun making Julia Childs' Boeuf Bourguignon for dinner. The adults had great conversations and we all played a few games.

We made it the night before New Year's Eve, since it's a long process. We listened to French music and had fun playing French chef :).
Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of the finished product or New Year's Eve :(.

sounds like a fun New Year's eve!! Rachel has yet to make it to midnight. Kara probably will next year. She seems wild enough to do it :)
Ethan has done it since he was 2, but he's our night owl, so no surprise there!
