Our Baby is Five!

Little Kerrigan is growing up!  
She still holds a very bright spot in our family.  
We all love her so much and love what she adds to our family. 

Kerrigan still loves princesses, anything pink, dresses and girly things, but is at the same time pretty tough and doesn't mind getting dirty. We love her courage and spunk.  She has a way about her and seems to get nearly anyone to fall in love with her :).

The kids recently asked me what their names mean.  When we looked up Kerrigan's it means "dusky, dark" which isn't her with her blonde hair, blue eyes and bright personality :), but this acrostic was also included.  We thought it described her well:  

K is for kindness, you always often show.

E is for endear, all those you touch.

R is for rapport, friends seek you.

R is for radiant, the sparkling you.

I is for interest, you show in others.

G is for grace, an admirable trait. (her middle name)

A is for altruism, the unselfish you. (most of the time :) )

N is for natural, the genuine side of you.

Sutton and Hudson did a great job decorating the room for Kerrigan.

 And some homemade ice cream for dessert.  

We'll have cake when we celebrate with Gran & Gramps when they arrive later this week.  

Kerrigan is counting down the days until they get here.

It was a special treat to have Grandma stop by earlier in the day, 

bringing a fun Friends Lego gift for Kerrigan.
